The face behind
Aritudo Games
Janina Quakenack is an indie solo game developer who has been working in the gaming industry since 2018, with a strong background in animation art.
In 2025, she founded Aritudo Games as a direct result of receiving the Press Start Gaming Grant.
Her work focuses on creating cozy mobile games that center around nature and environmental preservation.

My game takes you into the fascinating universe of the desert planet Aritudo, a world where its inhabitants brave harsh conditions and rely on ingenuity, creativity, and survival strategies to thrive.
At the heart of this story are two unique creatures who work together in perfect symbiosis to bring new life to the barren sands.
Together, they transform the desolate desert into a blooming paradise, showing how unity and connection can create something entirely new.
